Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Here are some general reviews of my Peter Pan stories and writing which might help you to decide if

what is archived here, is suitable for you to read. All the reviews were unsolicited and unedited. Some

names have been masked to preserve the writers' privacy. These largely refer to the PG stories, there

is another review page for the adult section, as well as individual reviews for each story to allow you

to make your own judgement as to whether they are worth reading or not. All ratings are to be taken

seriously.

Adendum: If you are wondering why a handful of my early stories have no reviews, ie:All Because of a Thimble etc, it is because they were originally listed on FF.net, but I was kicked off(a notable first) for being too racy. Therefore, I lost all the lovely reviews I had for those early stories. So, there were reviews, but several computer changes and other updates have lost them. My personal favourite among the early stories is - A Pirates Life for Me. Get's me every time. Enjoy.

No, I'm not a stalker, composing love ballads for your beautiful prose. I'm sure you're complimented (rightfully) all the time over your fanfictions, but I've written to say that you have, on more than one occasion, saved my mentality. Too often am I turning away from the computer in disgust as I read through the current fictions of the day. When the stress in life becomes too much, I will set aside an hour (or four) and sit down to reread one of your stories.

I write because there are far too few reviews for you and I would like to voice my opinion on your writing. I cannot wait for another chapter of The Care and Feeding of Flying Boys, and honestly can't even begin to wonder what new story will come out of your deviously brilliant mind.

Thank you very much for your style and fiction,
Beth

Dear Louise,

Thank you for replying so fast! It's so nice to finally talk to the person who wrote those wonderful stories. Peter Pan has always been my favorite story and to see the characters brought to life in so many creative ways, as you do, is always a joy. :) I honestly don't know why someone would complain about any of your stories. I've read all of the ones that you posted on fanfiction.net (most of them more than once!) and I never thought anything you wrote was offensive in any way. Any sexual situations were always done tastefully and eloquently.
I am currently reading The Care and Feeding of Flying Boys and I am enjoying it immensely! I'm planning on reading the latest chapter tonight. I can't wait for your website to be up again, though. Thank you for keeping me in the loop with that. I'll be waiting for news from you that it's up and running! :)

Erin :)

Hi, Louise,

I just wanted to write and tell you how WONDERFUL your stories are. I
was only recently introduced to them by one of the girls on the
Jeremy's Angels site, goes by the screen name H*********d. For the past
couple of weeks or so, I've just immersed myself in your incredible
Peter Pan fics.

I can't tell you how satisfying it's been to read stories so
beautifully written, that they have become for me an authentic
continuation of the Peter and Wendy story. After watching the 2003 film
and seeing the story in a fresh new light as a romance, the bittersweet
ending is even more poignant. As wonderful as the movie is (now one of
my all time favorites, actually), I was really left wishing that
somehow Peter and Wendy find each other again to live their "happily
ever after." And now thanks to your brilliant stories, they do.

Well, as always, I'm a little late to the game, but even though most of
these stories have been completed for many months, I wanted to let you
know how very much I've enjoyed reading them. You've kept the
characters true even as you put them in all these new and very
different adventures. Your Peter Pan remains unmistakably Peter Pan,
whether he's the brave young Wonderful Boy or the scrumptious grown-up
romantic hero. Wendy is the pretty and proper Wendy Lady when she needs
to be,  and the spunky, spirited young woman when she needs to be. Your
wonderfully detailed descriptions of Neverland can really transport the
reader to this beautiful, magical, and sometimes dark and dangerous
place. You have such a gift for conjuring up images that linger
vividly. And the dreamy (and erotic!) romance between Peter and Wendy
in all your stories...<sigh> what can I say. If I were the swooning
type...<SWOON>!

Well, I should draw this to a close before you end up having to mop
your computer desk from all the gushing I'm doing here. But every word
is sincere, and I do so hope you will continue with your writing. You
are so gifted and I am so grateful that you've shared these stories
with us.

Your fan,
Sofia
aka S********U on Jeremy's Angels.

Hi,

I've just finished 'A Pirate Life for Me'. Once again, I must say you are an incredibly fantastic author I've ever seen.
You seem to have many kinds of plots. Your stories always have full of adventure, love, drama and.... LOL. you know what I mean. Not to mention your wonderful narrations and descriptions, hard to see both in one author's work.
I do like your description about YOUR Peter's point of view, HIS thoughts and feelings, for I rarely find them from the others' as so many of them mostly describe Wendy's. For example, your descriptions about HIS guilt and pain for betraying HER by having an affair with someone else are so emotional. YOUR audiences never get bored with reading. (Please note: I use the word 'audiences' not 'readers'. According to me, a 'reader' just read and go, but an' audience', like me ^_^, is drawn in the story. WE feel as if the characters were real, lovin! g them, hating them, wanting to see them happy, sorry for them when they are sad, and such.)
Nevertheless, I think YOUR Wendy is too good. SHE never shows HER upset to HIM, forgiving and welcoming HIM back, always. According to me, HE should deserve some for what HE's done to her. For example, in 'All Because of a Thimble', HE hurts HER so much by banishing HER, telling HER to go home. But when HE comes to HER at night. SHE forgets everything HE has done. Yes, I know SHE does love HIM, but HE should learn one or two lessons not to hurt HER again. You always use this in many of your stories. Could you change a little bit next time if possible? Such as SHE showing some upset and HE begging for HER forgiveness, something like that? LOL
Anyway, I'm sorry to tell you that your NC-17s are too much for me, I can't take such stories. But I see you are so awesome in different ways of writing.
Waiting for your updates and your new ones if you have.

kasmira.
^_^

Hi Louise,

first I want to tell you that I really love your Peter-Pan-stories at
ffn.net. I am a big Peter Pan-Fan for more than 20 years now and since I saw
the 'new' movie I am completely lost (you know, what I mean). I love the
soft sweet romance of Peter and Wendy in it and have also (as I have to
admit) a crush on Hook (thanks to Jason Isaac). I've published a story on
Affn.net, called 'Swirl of passion'; maybe you have read it.
I have also written a German Peter Pan-story (a long on) and will start to
translate it soon and publish it on ffn.net.

It would be nice to hear from you,
yours faithfully

Lywhn

Dear Louise,

On this year that closes up, I want to thank to you for the whole happiness and pleasure that I felt when I read their wonderful stories on our dear hero Peter Pan and his lover Wendy.

I don’t have words to express as those stories were important for me. Thank you very much.

I also want to send for you and their relatives, the best votes of a Merry Christmas and a 2006 full of peace, love, health, happiness, and ... more stories.

Kisses,

Yvonne

P.S. I’m accompanying eagerly The Ties That Bind. I’m impassioned by this story. And for this Peter.
